Safe Smiles
Toothprints offer an easy and low cost means to safeguard your children.
Did you know dental imprints are as unique as fingerprints? Even identical twins have different bite impressions. A toothprint captures the size and shape of a child’s teeth, as well as tooth position and relationship between upper and lower jaws.
In other words, toothprints offer an effective and accurate means of identification; even better, because they also capture trace amounts of saliva, they can be used for scent-dog tracking to find lost children! Parents keep the toothprints at home, where they can be kept confidential and easily accessible.
Safe Smiles is a program sponsored by Remington College to provide complimentary toothprints. The event will also include activities and coloring focused on dental health for kids, plus demonstrations of proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Safe Smiles will leave you and your children safer and all smiles.
